December 2003 SCPOCA Club Meeting Minutes
The 2003 Space City Panteras Christmas Party was hosted at John and Mary Taphorn's home in Kingwood.
There were four Panteras in attendance driven by Randy Pike, Dan Mixon, David Bell, and of course John Taphorn (in the garage).
Dinner was pot-luck buffet style featuring Mary Taphorn's famous Christmas chili. There were also plenty of festive desserts and no one went home hungry.
The now traditional Cheating Santa Gift Exchange included (to list just a few) a set of jack stands, mechanics gloves, a 1/18 scale Pantera model, and a Craftsman socket set. POCA newsletter editor Mike Drew flew in from California to join us and brought an official bottle of 'DeTomaso' wine for the gift exchange.
Hall Pantera (Gary Hall) and Pantera Performance (Dennis Quella) very generously provided gift certificates that were doled out as door prizes.
